Veteran Teacher's Campaign Sparks Hope for Dogs in Puppy Mills

Living My Best Life

What's better than delivering a message of inspiration? Two messages: You're never too old and it's never too late - when love moves you to make a difference. And that's how this former elementary teacher went to the dogs. Literally. These days I speak up for voiceless dogs locked in squalor and neglect at puppy mills. In a multi-teared approach. That animal lovers and especially dog lovers are encouraged to join.

The title of this story could also be from outrage to action. But why not keep things positive? Since I'm a "glass full versus glass empty" kind of person. What follows is my story in Ageist, online magazine. Ageist is an unique publication, filled with examples of humans age 50+ making positive change in their communities. I'm betting it'll leave you uplifted and motivated to go and make a difference somewhere in your community. Have a look. Tap this link for more photos and the full story. (Special thanks to Coy Fine Art Portraits for this photo - part of charity photobook benefitting breast cancer research "Forty Over 40 Women and the Dogs They Love." Featuring amazing women, the dogs they love and their stories! Spots still available: coyfineart.com)
